I believe everything we do matters in our health and wellness
I believe that the smallest changes have profound effects, and simple ordinary things can be the most powerful.
Everything we do impacts us. So, of course, I diligently crafted that concept into my professional work over the years! I repurposed the ancient saying, “How you do anything is how you do everything,” as a basis for my personal, healthcare, wellness, and wilderness philosophy.
Now, I’m a healthcare practitioner that holds a broad perspective in healthcare integrating Functional Medicine, Oriental Medicine, Nutrition, Ayurveda, Body and Breath-based practices and Lifestyle Medicines. Yet somehow, I keep it simple and uncomplicated.
Simplicity changes everything
I’ve invested in a big-picture approach to wellness, dedicating time reimagining, redesigning, and elevating how I practice. I believe that now is the time to change how we work in healthcare. I had originally pondered the idea of heading into a more conventional path to becoming a healthcare practitioner as it is the most direct route to providing health and wellness care. Finally, I realized that I could invest in a variety of high-quality programs and education and create exactly the outcome I was looking for: A wide perspective. I knew it would take me longer, cost more, require periods of learning while working, and be an unusual method. But, the work was worth it. I am invested in sharing this innovative and adaptive approach with as many people as possible.
I’m here to share a better way.
I diligently employ evidence-based health answers that you can trust with the effective combination of modern laboratory testing and Functional Medicine coupled with several thousand-year-old holistic health modalities! Finally, I blend in additional wellness skills to create more substantial support and impact.
I deliberately invested in multiple Nutrition Education programs to provide a comprehensive and integrative focus. Added to that is education in Nutrition Therapy and Nutrition Coaching. I even learned how to use food as medicine, discovering my love of concoctions. (A modern-day wellness alchemist!)
To create and support effective, long-lasting shifts, I studied Wellness and Mindset (life) coaching.I supplemented these skills by learning the most current behavioral change and useful habit-creating methods.

We build deeply embodied resilience via movement, meditation, breathwork, and relaxation practices. For over two decades, I have interwoven teaching and learning in highly personalized ways. Through this, I discovered many health issues are solved or improved by approaching them through the lens of movement and breath. Movement and Stillness are genuinely their own form of medicine. When you add this to simply whole-life-focused living, you can be unstoppable!

Along with all my health practices, I believe in creating a low-toxin-as-possible living environment and home space. Improving your environment and making it healthier can often be part of the solution to wellness issues. Plus, it contributes to your community and even makes the world healthier little by little. We often discount how powerful our own personal actions can be. But, they can slowly change everything.

I became certified in Forest & Nature Therapy: Forest Bathing. I guide wilderness excursions in a challenging yet accessible way rooted in wellness. Also, offering Get Wild with Nature Meditation experiences. I am an adventurer, and I go all in. When you go all in, you do it completely. I work with you that way, too, supporting you in crafting your envisioned life.

It may seem like a lot, but to me, it just seems like life.
I have lived it, applied it, studied it, and stayed up to date. I’ve taken on the risk for you.
I embarked upon this because one size fits all method does not work. Yet, there are foundational principles that universally create wellness and health. I know firsthand that the most powerful health changes happen during our everyday lives. Day in and day out, week in and week out, month after month, year after year.

When I work with someone, Together, we dig deep, finding root causes of healthcare and wellness issues. Then using a solid health solutions system, we work to resolve them. We turn around challenging wellness issues into a strategically developed and personalized health-promoting plan.

Guidance and strategies to produce incredible outcomes
In recent years, I experienced a severe injury and an adjunct medical issue that required more than eight years of surgeries, procedures, therapeutic work, and self-care. I used many of these methods to produce rock-solid recovery for myself. I share this so that you know not only am I devoted to this professionally; so, I have direct experience in my own life producing remarkable outcomes.
During this time, I walked a path of unwellness and discomfort. I was challenged, met many obstacles, and struggled immensely. I gave up a few times; but ultimately moved through creating wellness, resilience, and life shifts for myself. Those years propelled me on a journey and to walk that path with you. During that time of healing and recovery, surgical procedures, adjunct medical needs, and therapeutic work, I realized firsthand: I can live with resilient engagement when feeling sick or uncomfortable. You don’t need to be disease-free to cultivate wellness. We redefine and simplify continuously, creating outcomes you want despite symptoms or circumstances. I used my Seven Pillars of health and wellness to help myself heal up fully functional. I continue to employ them as I evolve while creating my new optimal-for-me normal.

While going through my recent accident and medical recovery, I explored creative work through writing and art to support healing. In Writing and Artwork, I experienced over and over how much it helped me.
Sometimes, we lose our voice when injured, unwell, or traumatized; doing creative work can give it back to us. This is expressed differently for everyone, but we can all benefit from the wellness and health that arise from creativity. For me, I realized that I am a writer, poet, and artist. And that all art is relevant and matters.
I came out on the other side functionally healed. I have become even more rooted in knowing everything I do for myself in my life matters; especially my mindset and building resilient wellness.
It is powerful to be able to help yourself over and over.

I know that change is hard. Transformation is difficult and takes time, and that is okay. I know the challenges, but also how amazing producing the results and rediscovering feeling good is.
