Meditation for Everyone:
Simple Breathwork and Meditation
More Dates offered in late 2021
Practice simple, natural breathwork and practical meditation techniques that offer you deep resilience of mind. Calm the nervous system, reduce reactivity and stress, harness wandering thoughts. Learn present moment, objective observation of breath and body sensations. Over time, these simple practices become integrated into your daily life and way of being, supporting you in living an even more calm, focused, healthy life.
Do simple therapeutic movements to support your body sitting for periods of time in meditation. Create a supportive sit space that works for you on the floor or in a chair that you can replicate in your home space. Explore methods for developing an expansive relaxed breathing capacity. This, in turn, helps lung capacity, oxygenation, and cardio-respiratory health.
We all seem to agree that training the body through various health, wellness and physical methods is a great idea; but why not also invest in training your mind? Joining me in this workshop and future class series will give you the tools to do exactly this while developing a strong, flexible, focused mind and relaxed, natural breath.
These sessions offer a safe and welcoming environment open to everyone, no experience needed—except for breathing! This practice is compatible with all philosophy and spiritual paths and not rooted in any religious tradition simply open to all. It is an internally objective observation focused practice, so skills in visualization, chanting or creating words or mantras is not needed.
