You can be confident in joining our retreats that not only will have a truly wondrous experience, contribute to the local community and feel safe and well-doing so.
Experience Wellness, Resilience, and Rejuvenation – Costa Rica Wellness Retreat
Yoga + Breath + Movement
Forest Bathing + Nature Therapy
Deep Relaxation + Revitalization
Need a change of scenery? Escape to a serene Pacific coast eco-lodge tucked away in a private nature reserve surrounded by tropical rainforest, sweeping ocean views, and sandy beaches. Experience lush forests with astonishing wildlife in Costa Rica’s most famous ecosystem and one of the most biodiverse locations on earth: Osa.
Located in Playa Uvita and nestled among hundreds of acres of primary and secondary forest bordering Ballena Marine National Park, one of only two nationally protected marine zones in all of Costa Rica. Spot humpback whales migrating, dolphins, toucans, harpy eagles and so much more.
You will be supported by delicious, healthy meals prepared by gourmet chefs. Enjoy three seasonal, organic meals sourced locally during each day of the retreat. Rest easy knowing that all health protocols stipulated by the Ministry of Health and the Costa Rican Institute of Tourism ensure your safety and tranquility. The lodge is dedicated to environmental education and conservation and designed its accommodations with sustainable, local materials to minimize their carbon footprint.
“I attended a retreat in the Jemez with Heather. She is an incredible teacher, guide, and coach–so gentle, calming, empowering, and thoughtful. I always left the retreat sessions feeling very centered, and the relaxation and sense of peace I experienced from the retreat was that feeling multiplied.”
This revitalizing wellness retreat offers an exceptional blend of deeply rejuvenating practices with just the right amount of invigoration, leaving you calm and relaxed. Yet renewed and energized. We will awaken our senses, soothe our busy minds, heal, and restore. Also, this extraordinary experience will help wash away the stress and tension that accumulates with the hustle and bustle of life, revealing a more aligned, enriched, and inspired self.
Experience the perfect harmony of active and deep relaxation practices such as yoga, natural movement, breathwork, and meditation, as well as deep relaxing yoga nidra (for deep rest). We will practice in a beautiful open-air space with breathtaking views, moving freely, stretching deeper, and reaching wider.
Nourish your body and soul as you restore and connect with the earth and yourself. So, enjoy forest bathing and nature therapy excursions throughout the private jungle preserve and tranquil beaches. Also, these meditative, nature-based relaxation practices will increase awareness through every breath and step, resulting in heart-centered calmness and vitality.
Specially curated options for the exploration of the beautiful local area, including excursions, sessions, and practices are personalized based on your needs and intake questions. All registered attendees will have the option to schedule a phone or video consultation with the retreat leaders to discuss personal objectives, suggestions, and any concerns.
“Last year, I had my first experience of “forest bathing”….this guided process was an invitation to really decelerate, perhaps pausing to stop and “Be” in the moment with the forest.”
During free time, enjoy opportunities for activities and excursions (stand-up paddleboarding, surfing, snorkeling, whale watching, hiking and exploring the unique ecosystems, swimming at waterfalls and incredible beaches), plus ample rest and quiet time as you unwind to the sound of the waves and ocean breeze. Take advantage of nurturing activities like on-site spa services, journaling, stargazing and so much more. It’s up to you!
Join us in this deeply inspiring retreat that offers the renewal and rejuvenation you seek.
Emerge from our time together feeling refreshed and ready to embrace whatever is next for you.
